The Great Toad Sage’s predictions came true.
Predictions. This usually stands for “IT WILL HAPPEN”. Not “IT MIGHT HAPPEN”. And it seems to be true as The Great Toad Sage’s prediction about Jiraiya is now happening.
- He predicted, Jiraiya will travel around the globe and write a book. It’s happening.
- He said that Jiraiya will be a strong shinobi, and Jiraiya is a strong shinobi.
- He said that Jiraiya will grow a pervert, Jiraiya certainly is.
- He said that Jiraiya is going to have a student, the destined child. This student will be the cause of a great revolution. Which either bring peace or destruction to the world.
- He said Jiraiya will be their Master and Teacher and will eventually will have Jiraiya make a difficult choice. Seems like fighting against Pain is not too difficult choice for Jiraiya.
See? All his predictions has happened and happening. I just hope that he also predicted that Jiraiya will win over Pain.

ho ho Ho, it’s The Toad Sage again.. man, all those predictions about me came true… But why doesn’t it say if i’m gonna meet some nice curvy women?!?!?! Predictions… always being serious!

Perhaps the shinobi that will be the cause of a great revolution in the world of ninja, the bringer of peace or the harbinger of destruction, is not Pein but Naruto. After all, doesn’t Naruto have the power of the most destructive jinchuuriki. “With a swing of its nine tails, it can destroy mountains and cause massive tsunami’s.” He has as much potential to bring forth obliteration as he does to unify the ninja world in peaceful co-existence. Jiraiya is his master and teacher even more so than Kakashi, so it would stand to reason that should Jiraiya survive his encounter with Pein (seemingly unlikely at this point), his difficult choice would be a decision between whether or not to protect or to kill his constantly improving student, Naruto Uzumaki.
