Naruto Shippuuden

This is another theory that I sadly thought of one time. I based it from the last few chapters of the Manga and I believe that it might happen.

After Pein was announced as the Akatsuki Leader, Tsunade commanded Jiraiya to spy on the Rain Village and gather information about Pein. While he’s on his mission, Pein has awaken to hunt down the intruder which seems to be Jiraiya. This gave me hints that we will see Jiraiya fight for the first time. And this would probably be one of the greatest fights we’ll ever see in the series. However, if Jiraiya beats down Pein, there wouldn’t be too good of a story we’ll see. And this makes me sad to think that Pein could possibly kill Jiraiya, or paralyse him at least. When this happens, the story will be much better. There will be a good reason for Naruto to take revenge. Knowing Naruto’s will to give justice to little guys, he will definitely fight to his limit to kill Pein with his own hands.

Jiraiya has been a father to Naruto, much like he has been a father to Minato. It’s like they had same blood flowing on their veins and their chakras are similar as well. But it could be better if Jiraiya will stay alive in the series. It will give him time to witness more on Naruto and possibly see him grow as the Hokage of Konoha.

It is also possible somehow that there wouldn’t be any Jiraiya vs. Pein fight. Jiraiya can still escape from the Rein Village at this point and avoid to have an encounter with Pein. At least this will give him a chance to stay longer in the series.

We’ve first seen the Valley of the End during the Sasuke Retrieval Arc in Naruto Part 1. Naruto followed Sasuke and fought with him at this place. In the valley we noticed the statue and Kakashi gave a hint of its history.

While Sasuke and Naruto were fighting, Kakashi mentioned that it was the same place where two great warriors fought before. Seems like the two warriors were best friends and due to conflicting ideas, they battle to the end. The right statue was the First Hokage while the other is not mentioned or I just can’t remember who he was.

From the Manga chapter 370, Jiraiya mentioned about the fight between Uchiha Madara and the First Hokage. He said that the First Hokage defeated Madara but he doubts that Madara was killed totally. At the same chapter, Tobi was shown at the top of the left statue which gave me a hint that the second warrior was Uchiha Madara and Tobi is Madara. Uchiha Madara was shown as well in the said chapter and he looks like the statue.

For those who hasn’t been following Naruto episodes or Manga regularly (like me), here is some of recaps of what has been happening in the Naruto World. Just to let you on the same page.

Anime

• Team Kakashi and Team Gai headed on pursuing the location of the Akatsuki.
  Team Gai: Lee, Tenten, Neji and Gai.
  Team Kakashi: Naruto, Chiyo-sama, Sakura and Kakashi.
  The teams faced some sort of illusions which are apparently being controlled by Pein. The Akatsuki leader. The teams managed to escape their illusions.
• Team Kakashi found the Akatsuki hideout. They were too late though, because the Akatsuki has aleady extracted Gaara’s shukaku when they came. And all the members of the Akatsuki has gone except Sasori and Diedara.
• Sakura showed amazing force and fighting skills when she and Chiyo-sama fought with Sasori. She was Chiyo’s human puppet. During the fight, Sasori’s true identity/physical appearance was revealed. He’s now a puppet of himself.
  Sakura and Chiyo survived the fight and left Sasori defeated.
• Naruto and Kakashi were after Diedara. He carries Gaara’s remains and Naruto really wants to have Gaara back, whether or not he can survive. Well, he’ll be revived back to life.
• On the other side, Team Gai fell on to another illusion where they were fighting against themselves. They managed to escape.

Manga

Let’s start from where Sasuke defeated Orochimaru.

• Sasuke managed to catch Orochimaru with his mangekyu sharingan and defeated him so easily. Sasuke has Orochimarus power, somehow.
• Kabuto lent his body to Orochimaru, hardly staying on his own control. I doubt he can overcome Orochimaru in the end. After all, Orochimaru is still alive.
• Sasuke searched for Mizugetsu, Juugu and Karin and formed a group from them. They called their team as “Hebi” or snake.
  Team Hebi & Team Kakashi which is composed of more ninjas including you all time favorite Hinata are after the Akatsuki. There’s a hunting circle going on by the way. Naruto is in search of Sasuke. Sasuke is in search for Itachi. And Itachi is in search of Naruto. Must be a great fight if those three encounter each others at the same time, eh?
• Pein was revealed as the Akatsuki Leader and God according to Rain Ninjas.
• Sasuke and Itachi met each other and likely to start a fight.
• Naruto is the son of The Fourth Hokage and Kushina Uzumaki.
• The unnamed Akatsuki member is now named. She’s Konan. More likely the only girl in Akatsuki.

According to several information that Jiraiya extracts from the rain ninjas, it seems that no one has seen Pein and nobody knows a lot about him. No one really knows what he looks like but the people believe that he exists and watches over them all the time. Well, some people from the village might not agree with this. It also seems that Pein has a personal speaker when he wants something to tell the village.

The ninja said that Pein was being hunted by the former remnants of the village of Amagakure. They took every little chances they got to kill Pein-sama. But of course they failed. Pein sama destroyed the village so easily by himself. The reason why Pein is called a legend. Pein also defeated Hanzou, a former leader of Amagakure. Very powerful. Salamander Hanzou is the one who named the three (Tsunade, Jiraiya, Orochimaru), as “The Three Legendary Sannins of Konoha”. As they were strong enough to survive the attack.

I was talking with a friend last week, he’s a Naruto fan as well. He has a theory that I think can very possibly happen along the way. Well, somewhere along the way, we already saw twists that we thought would never happen before.
