One of the most difficult decision to make is when you have to choose one thing over the other while you know they are both of importantance. As a ninja, you have to act according to rules. And as a team player, you must protect your teammates and watch over them all the time like watching yourself.

This case has happened to Kakashi when he was sent on a mission together with Obito and Rin. It was during one of the secret battle that Konoha and Rock country fought against. The team got caught in a tough situation and they needed to make a better judgement. Save your friend or your follow your village’s rule.

Rin has been trapped by a Rock Ninja and about to get killed. Obito wanted to save Rin but Kakashi didn’t because he knows they have to accomplish their mission and they have to follow a rule. This is one thing that greatly differs Obito from Kakashi. Obito was known to be a stubborn kid, who ofetentimes do not follow their leader’s command and act on his own way. Kakashi used to be stubborn as well but since what happened to his father, he became very strict to his principle which is to follow his country’s rule.

His father, known as Konoha’s White Fang, has been in the same situation and he choses to save his friend than to finish their mission. And since then, his father took a lot of blame from the villagers everytime something not good happens. This incident brought White Fang too much shame to his country and decided to commit ‘harakiri’ or self sacrifice. This process needs a friend to do the killing by ripping the stomach of the subject.

Inspite this, Kakashi changed his mind before it’s too late to save Rin. When Rin was about to get killed, Kakashi suddenly interfere and seriously injured their opponent. Obito then finished their opponent by acticating his sharingan but he got caught by the rock slide. He was badly damaged and before he died, Rin performed the eye transplant to Kakashi. Reason why Kakashi has Obito’s left sharingan. Rin was a medical ninja by the way. She is presumed to be dead since Kakashi once mentioned that everyone close to him were already dead.

I think what he did was right. They were able to save a life and at the same time they succeed on their mission. Though another life was sacrificed. But the heroic deed was appreciated by the village instead of being blamed. Until then, Kakashi did his job almost perfect everyday. He’s been excellent at all things he does. She’s one of the best in taijutsu as well as jujitsu, ninjutsu, etc. He is one good leader. He is able to use his Sharingan to its maximum and he knows that Obito is happy about it.
