This is ridicoulous. Itachi is so lame. Look at Kakuzu and Deidara. They have much more interesting abilities. My favorite is definently Konan. If the rumors are true, her powers are awsome. Check out my post under “Who is Konan and Pein?”

Itachi is no weakling. In fact, he has more power than most of the Akatsuki if not all. Of course, I do not praise him because I have personal bias for him, instead I extol his abilities because of how much more control, mystery, and intelligence under his command as compared to the rest of the Akatsuki. So much of his story has been revealed and yet we are still kept in the dark as to his personal inclinations and desires. Even when he discloses his intentions, his calm and seemingly serene disposition make him a force that is perpetually underestimated and sometimes overestimated. He may seem unwilling to fight most of the time, but do not mistake that for weakness for his tranquil demeanor is a means by which to conquer any opponent he faces; i.e. Deidara, Orochimaru, Kurenai, Sasuke, and the entire Uchiha clan. He is calculating and exacting to a degree far beyond any of his teammates and rivals. Although I do not believe he is in the same league as Shikamaru in terms of genius, he is just a dangerous and even more deadly.
